One night only...

Hey Hey Huns,

Alot has gone on and is going on from last week to this week, you could say for once im a busy bumblebee lol! But I'll be uploading some of that hopefully sometime next week!! Bad news after getting my laptop fixed it has died on me YET again! Guess its its time to start saving for a new one!! = (

But anyway today has been a lazy day and last min dot com decided to go to the cinema's to wat Immortals!! (must say EXCELLENT film) felt in the mood to dress up a little,slightly nothing to fancy so chucked on a white shirt jeans and a pair of Black wedge boots with my famous Leather jacket that comes like my 2nd skin lol... nothing fancy but just for one night only felt like being a little extra!

So after today’s DIY, I thought why not wear it to a Sunday family dinner!! Not the best decision after eating food (food baby) but I actually love the dress! My new LOVE of today and maybe even winter with thick tights and layering!!...

D.I.Y Waterfall Dress...

Hey Hey huns,

Was going through my wardrobe the other day and came across a long grey maxi dress that i had bought from ASOS aaaaaaages ago. I was meaning to alter it as it was way to long for me but never got the chance to actually do it. So anyway I pulled it out the other day and thought hey, I’m going to make a waterfall dress (You know the style that’s short in the front long at the back kind of thing) if it goes wrong I’m not going to miss it because the dress has been there like forever and if it goes right that’s an extra bonus for me. So I got the scissors, Chalk and tape measure and got to cutting...

Maxi Dress at Original...

I tried the dress on to get my measurements. Using the measuring tape I held it from underneath the arm of the dress and measured it to my foot which came up to about 47.5 Inches (I’m a shortie, this I know lol) As I want the dress to be a water fall style dress so I also measured from the bust of the dress to about my knee which came up to 30 Inches. Taking the dress off I remembered where I measured from and how much and marked it off with some chalk...

I also maked an extra inch under the length this is seam allowance for when im stitching...

Once lines are complete, ready to cut!!...

With marking the final Length, I then free hand drew an arch shape(If your not confident with free hand then make a arch pattern with paper) Again I added on an extra inch of seam allowance for stitching...

Remembering its only the front that is arched lift up the front part of the dress and start to cut the arch shape! Be very careful not to pick up any of the back...

once everything is cut out, it's time to start sewing! (If your not confident sewing the seam allowance fold then iron the line of the seam allowance so you know where to fold up to when stitching. Use a tape measure to make sure that the fold is the tip of the tape for an even fold all the way around...

 (Im using an industrial sewing machine...Any machine will do!)

After sweing all the way round the dress give it a quick Iron...

 And the dress is completed...

Pure Gold...

Hey Hey Huns,

Just thought to post a quick something showing you my new LOVE of the week! BarryM's very own Gold Nail polish! I went to Westfield Stratford with a friend on Wednesday (very disappointed) and had a look around before we caught a movie. I have this thing about painting my nails now (used to hate painting my nails as every time they get painted not even an hour and they chip! AAAAAH!!!) So thought to buy some polish. I love BarryM for the colour and that’s when I came across the nail Effect Gold!! (Also available in Silver) As soon as I Got home Painted my nails straight away with excitement...

Being in a creative mood I also decided to use BarryM Black crackle effect on a finger, just for the fun and to add that unique-ness on my Pure Gold nails!

It’s about that time again where H&M does a collaboration with a celebrity or designer brand and this year they have teamed up with VERSACE. The collection will be launched in selected countries on the 17th November and in the US 19th November. The prices start from £19.95-£299, The collection also includes home ware such as pillow and bed sheets. The style and prints are a typical Versace and boy is the world going to go crazy when its launched....

Inspire my Fashion...

Hey Hey huns,

So House sitting for my friend, and with cooking and cleaning out the way keeping myself busy, I decided to search the net and OMG Alex has finally found a Fashion inspiration. CHRISTINA CENTENERA , Fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia has become my fashion focus.

Completley in love with her style; it now changes the way I think about styling myself. Being on the thicker side of the 'Ideal' body, Christina's fashion frenzy styling has given me the encouragement to enjoy the ideas 'dressing up' everyday. Challenging myself shes given me style ideas to have fun with as everyday looks. I mean who says we need to go out just to dress up??

Style Crush!!...

Hey hey my beautiful people!

I know its been ages, yet again since I have blogged, and going through my blog I haven't done much to be honest. I haven't  really taken my blog as serious as I wanted to, but thats where it all changes. Semi getting my laptop to work im going to try my hardest to keep you posted with more of my looks and my fave's about fashion and just thing in general and plus theres some really great things happening soon which im excited about so fingers crossed and lets see how that goes.

So lets get started by me expressing my style crush for SOLANGE KNOWLES!! I know she's like the talk of all styles and its only now that im realising just how much her styling catches my fashion eye. To me she can pull of anything and her confidence within her style just makes it that much better...
