Hey Hey huns,

So House sitting for my friend, and with cooking and cleaning out the way keeping myself busy, I decided to search the net and OMG Alex has finally found a Fashion inspiration. CHRISTINA CENTENERA , Fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia has become my fashion focus.

Completley in love with her style; it now changes the way I think about styling myself. Being on the thicker side of the 'Ideal' body, Christina's fashion frenzy styling has given me the encouragement to enjoy the ideas 'dressing up' everyday. Challenging myself shes given me style ideas to have fun with as everyday looks. I mean who says we need to go out just to dress up??

Style Crush!!...

Hey hey my beautiful people!

I know its been ages, yet again since I have blogged, and going through my blog I haven't done much to be honest. I haven't  really taken my blog as serious as I wanted to, but thats where it all changes. Semi getting my laptop to work im going to try my hardest to keep you posted with more of my looks and my fave's about fashion and just thing in general and plus theres some really great things happening soon which im excited about so fingers crossed and lets see how that goes.

So lets get started by me expressing my style crush for SOLANGE KNOWLES!! I know she's like the talk of all styles and its only now that im realising just how much her styling catches my fashion eye. To me she can pull of anything and her confidence within her style just makes it that much better...

Hey! Whats in those bags?? ...

 

Hey peeps,

Again i know it's been a long time since I’ve blogged but I promise I’m going to "try" and keep up with it. There’s so much that you've missed out all due to me not having a computer (still need to get it fixed) but now that I got hold of a laptop I thought let me quickly post my latest buys.

Last week when the sun was at its peak decided to go shopping with a friend up west End. I must say I enjoyed the experience to the fullest, so much in fact I fell straight asleep! lol I mean it had been such a long time since I’ve had the chance to go shopping and since I had the time that week I thought lets go.

So anyway I made my friend get up at the crack of dawn because I wanted to go Primark and I can honestly say I can't do Primark after 10:00, gives me a headache!! So basically we started from the bottom right up to the top and grabbed some lunch in the middle (well sort of in the middle).

I'm trying to update my wardrobe and also involve some A/W as I don't really do winter wear I usually do summer and just add layers and thick tights if need be, but this year I'm taking a whole new approach to my wardrobe. I have ordered a few more things from H&M online so when that comes i'll show you more of my treats!.

Pocket Full of Dreams...

 

Heeeeeeeeey,

Boy has it been a long time since i've posted something on here!Still without a laptop so every oppertunity I get to post something I jump on it!! With my absence i've had alot of time to refelct on my life, my dreams and my goals towards my future! With my birthday being a couple of moths ago it had reflected on the path that I now want to take in life and im quite excited to walk down that road.

So I guess everyone has pockets full of dreams and ambitions, my pockets aren't big enough with the amount of dreams that I have. I feel that I’m at a standstill in my life and constantly pushing myself to get somewhere, I analyse my life and there’s another dream to add to my over crowded pocket.

With business ideas and ventures; and a fashion degree my life had become a potato stuck in front of the TV (Very odd I know especially with such big ideas) as I wasn’t sure what to do with myself, where do I go next??  What do I try out??, but enough is enough as I’m growing tired of my morning dosage of Jeremy Kyle and Maury, use this free time and do something Alex! So I did.

I’ve started designing again and planning big things; fingers crossed they get me somewhere!

So Pink kisses is now an ongoing diary to where I try to fulfil my dreams and ambitions and just have fun with whatever experience may come my way. I have to be an inspiration to myself and others as well as finding new and challenging inspiration or else I’ll always be facing this dead end road and I refuse to waste anymore time doing nothing. Life is too short.

So I’m going to start emptying my pockets right here with you guys and try and turn my dreams into a reality (and if it doesn’t work at least I can say I’ve tried and had fun doing it) = )

Miss me?? I missed you...

Hey hey guys
I know its been a long time right since I posted something new but im back! not sure for how long though, lol! My laptop gave up on me and its been killing me not posting new images of my day outfits, but today was a laptop hunt day so after snapping some pics of my day outfit and enjoying the sunny/breeze I ran off to a friends house to quickly use his laptop for half and hour!!

This is the shirt from my guilty pleasures post! now I know I said I could wear it as a dress with some tights but boy was I wrong! the shirt is big in all the right places but lack the length, should have seen that coming but anyway it works well tucked in my jeans so not too bad! but there you have it, nothing special just a quick post to show you the outfit of the day and to let you know that I haven't forgotten you! been a little bit hectic but im going to keep you posted as much as I can!

All the Small Things...

Hey All,

Just another Sunday and thought since I’ve painted my nails, take some pictures and upload it on the blog since I haven’t had anything interesting to blog in a while.
 It’s just a typical Sunday, cooked, cleaned and done some washing all with perfect nails for once! One thing when I paint my nails I can never keep them perfect but the black and white effect that I’ve done has kept just well.

 Sometimes it’s the small things that makes a good Sunday, so I’m going to continue browsing the net for the holiday I’m planning and thinking of what style and look I should go for for this summer. So until the next time stay sweet, humble and safe.

Guilty Pleasures...

 Hey guys

thought I’ll post something quickly before heading out. Yesterday turnt from paying a bill to going shopping and ending up with bags!! NIGHTMARES sometimes especially as I know money is tight untill the end of this week!! That’s where my guilty pleasure lies!! I went to 2 shops yesterday Primark and Topshop, and at the end of it ended up walking away with 2 full bags and the pleasure of being a Topshop Credit Card holder!!

The 1st stop was Primark. With intentions of only buying some tights that I need I ended up with a cute pair of wedge booties and some feather earrings!(and still no tights) I also saw this amazing grey leather messenger bag but thought if I had picked that up that would have been the start of picking everything else up so I just went with the shoes (that I found in the sale) and the earrings (I got this thing for feather earrings these days)

Walking on the way to Topshop I had a quick stop in Superdrug where I found these Cute Pinks from the Make-Up stall MUA!! Only a £1, yes I know what you’re thinking but I’m experimenting with the whole make up thing and they are great!! Only thing is it does stain the lips slightly all depending on how rich you want the colour to sit on your lips.

Now this is where the trouble or should I say "fun" begins! Walked into Topshop went straight for the accessories! Found this amazing necklace, well amazing to me! with that found this blue simple chiffon shirt with cream spots only in a size 16, looked overly big for the style, wanting the shirt I put my fashion and styling skills to the test, knowing that I’m short I’ll wear the shirt like a dress with a belt and some tights bada bing bada boom! Wouldn’t of taken a mastermind to style that up lol but I grabbed the shirt anyway and that’s how I’ll wear it! Then found my way downstairs in the small store in Strand looking at more accessories when I found the earrings I’ve been looking for, for sooo long, Triangle gold studs! I could go on with the list and the amount of things I was picking up but I’ll show you pictures of my Topshop collections:

A Day of Many...

Morning Breaker...

Hey guys,

Today hasn't been the best week for me at all, I feel that I’ve received one bad news after the other and on top of that my laptop won't turn on! ANGER STRIKES!! I’m soooo frustrated with the damn thing! So I guess I’ll be trying to get some overtime at work to save up enough money to get a new laptop if I can't get my other one fixed!

Today has been a little dark for me, stressed isn't the word to describe how I’ve been feeling this week but I’ve always had this thing about me to not think about the stressful stuff and stay happy and positive but that’s a lot of years of backed up emotions and yesterday I think I hit the peak! Being strong is usually my strong point but I felt as I’ve come to the end of the road! This morning I woke up feeling slightly better and a little stronger and with and with this decided to be strong for me as well as my friends, family and supporters.

Wasn't really in the mood today to do that whole dress up fiasco (due to my mood also) so I went for the black on black look! Yes I did all black today but decided at the last minute to chuck in a denim shirt (It was a little cold outside today and I need that extra layer so let’s call it a part black outfit). Played around with my camera on my iPhone today and downloaded this really cool photography app and have had a field day with all the filters and styles of classic effects, so don't be surprised if most of the photos that I upload from now on have that classic, vintage looking effect on them lol. Will you be my Valentines??!!

Hey Everyone HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! 

Since today is the day of love, I thought to do a post of five cute outfits for Valentines. Now it’s nothing special I just thought mmmmm 5 simple outfits that’s easy to accessorise and create.

So I went through my rail of clothes (Soooo needs to be updated) and selected just a few simple silhouettes, 2 skirts, 2 tops, 2 Dresses and 1 jumpsuit, and a few accessories at random. I decided to select one pair of shoes for all of the outfits, much easier and these were the shoes I felt like dressing up in = ). Now for my favourite part dressing up!! lol

So I had fun dressing up but then had to think about the chosen outfit I was going to wear for the day! Whilst thinking I decided to do a bit of makeup and prepare my hair for a curly wave kind of look.
